VW T5 camper extension

The VW T5 is the ideal base vehicle for a camper extension. He has no teething problems, used vehicles in good condition and at moderate prices are available on the market and the many equipment variations cover all needs. The VW T5 with a short wheelbase was sold the most and there are accordingly many camper extension variations for this model. If you want to buy a vehicle as a camper first, you could also choose a VW T5 long wheelbase. This makes the VW bus 40 cm longer. The vehicle remains fully suitable for everyday use and you can continue to use about 90% of the parking spaces. In the interior, the 40 cm in a camper makes a clear difference. With our camper module, we can install a longer bench seat, a longer kitchen block and a complete wardrobe.

If you want to convert a VW T5 Transporter into a camper extension, you can design all aspects very freely and individually. A T5 Multivan or Caravelle bus has the advantage that the side walls and, in some cases, the floor and ceiling are insulated and clad. So if you want to invest little work and time in your camper, our recommendation would be to convert a T5 Multivan or the Caravelle into a T5 camper.

She has milled all variations as a negative form on the underside. This means that you can simply insert them into any model of your T5 and have created the basis for the camper extension.

The camper modules are then simply and easily screwed onto this base plate. If you want to use your T5 Camper on a daily basis and need more space, our camper module offers several options. On the one hand, the bed-kitchen unit, for example, can be quickly removed with just a few screws. 2 people can then lift out the unit and you have created huge storage space in your T5 camper.
