Your bus needs a supply battery in addition to the starter battery. In 90% cases, the supply battery can be installed under your driver's seat. If this is already available, the module can be connected directly to it. Otherwise you can have the battery retrofitted by us or by a car electrician.
You can have a battery installed either by us or by any car workshop. We recommend AGM or Lithium batteries.
Newer vehicles cannot optimally charge the supply battery. This is related to the Euronorms. Put simply, the vehicle stops charging at every opportunity to save energy. If you want to use the capacity of your batteries sensibly and permanently, you need a charging booster. Alternatively, for some vehicles we offer to optimize the charging of the additional battery directly via the vehicle software.
The service life of your batteries decreases rapidly as soon as the voltage falls below a certain level - up to total failure. In our opinion, a deep discharge protection is a useful accessory that can significantly increase the life of your battery.
An inverter turns 12 volts into 230 volts. That means you get a normal socket in your camper. The inverters are available for different outputs. So you have to think about whether you want it at all and which devices you want to use with it. Accordingly, we can install a suitable inverter.
Anyone who often goes to a campsite or does not use their vehicle for a long period of time has a useful accessory with a shore power connection. The cable is installed under the bonnet - optionally there is also a small Defa connection installed in the radiator grille. In addition to constant electricity in the camper, you can also charge the batteries at the same time.
